Failure is the stepping stone to success

Nadar Middle School students and Blue collar workers children were coming every Saturday and Sunday. The strength was 80 when the extension started in the year 2015-16. But it gradually reduced and reached 2 to 3 members.

Measures taken:

1. It was informed to the school head master periodically and instructed and advised the students. The same was done for the blue collar workers children through them

2. Bus fare was given for a boy named Mani who came from Erwadi town

3. A team of students and staff went to the village and canvassed the parents of the school children to send them for tuition

4. Refreshments were given for them whenever they came

5. Announced competitions and games to attract them

6. Gifts were given periodically to maintain the strength

Since nothing worked out effectively we had to close the tuition for a period of time. Then had an alternate idea as a solution to this problem by taking the students to the school once in a week for two hours (CSS Hours). The name of the project changed as outreach programme.

Outreach programme started from 10.07.2017
