Ode To The Person I Like

The journey begins on the slippery road,
Only to share the bond which can be felt but untold.
As each day advances to meet the brand new tomorrows,
It reminds me of you to shelter my sorrows.

Upright are your words without a grumble,
Which makes you a man who doesn't stumble.
Your sparkling eyes and  sharpened words will do the wonder,
Even when heart throbs in pain making body a cinder.

Walking the path of solitude doesn't make you weak,
Because the landscape far away ain't bleak.
Man ! Your sense of gratitude can spread the smile,
Without knowing it's infectious and travels a mile.

The memories should be cherished from withering,
Yet I believe we won't end up slithering.
Let this day speak volumes about the good old days,
For I pray we spend the rest of the years without parting ways.
